I am married and I have two children, both boys. My father died when I was 14 on Valentine’s day, which is a day before my mom’s birthday. I don’t have a healthy relationship with the part of my family I didn’t choose, but I would really like to.

Corey. My youngest, Corey, is the sweetest boy in the world. There are a few times when I feel like I have no purpose and when I think of him he brings a smile back to my face. He’s 6 years old right now and in 1st grade. Corey loves video games (takes after me) and airplanes. He’s left handed and has the worst handwriting.

Michael. My oldest son is Michael. He’s 7 years old and in 2nd grade. Right now he’s in North Carolina going to school because the school he was going to in Georgia was so bad he didn’t have a chance. He’s doing very well in NC and will be coming so SC with us after he finishes out the year. His favorite color is red, I remember when he was little he was always drawn to that color. He’s a very active kid, he loves to do anything outdoors, especially sports. He’s on the Upward basketball team at school.

Jay. My husband’s name is Jay. He’s 27 and he is a police officer. We met at McDonald’s (his favorite) while I was working there when I was 15. He came through the drive-thru and ordered something for his friend on the way back home. He said my voice was cute and when he thought my eyes were beautiful. He came back a few times to try to find me and finally did. We’ve been together for 8 years and married for 6 years.

Josh. My brother, Josh, may be mentioned sometimes. We don’t get along very well most of the time. He lives in California and I really only hear from him if he needs something. I guess he’s got his life over there and not really any time for his family over here. He’s the only family member I have who lives on the west coast. My brother is 30 and has been married to Taya for.. maybe 3 years? Not sure. I met her once in New Orleans.

Mom. What can I say about my mom? She’s crazy.. You’d really have to know her to know what I mean by this. She’s very supportive and always there for me. And in turn, I’m always there for her. I couldn’t tell you what she does for a living if you asked me to, but I’m talking her into making her own website. I’ll post that when she finally does.
